Love @hilaryswank's personal mantra! Mine is: "Life is a dance between making it happen and letting it happen." @thrive: @hilaryswank shared her personal mantra, her view on the term “fail,” and the book that changed her life in her Thrive Questionnaire (link in bio.)

Happy Monday!

#regram @katiecouric: Just covered the #womensmarchonwashington where I interviewed this little girl who is 11 yrs old. You can watch our convo and more of my coverage on @yahoonews. Link in bio. Stay tuned for more snaps and videos. #signsofthetimes

At the dinner I moderated in Davos celebrating the partnership between P&G’s @pampersus and @unicef that has helped protect the lives of 100 million women and their children and has eliminated in 19 countries maternal and newborn tetanus. Here with P&G’s chairman and CEO David Taylor who started his P&G career as an engineer at a plant in Mehoopany, Pennsylvania 36 years ago! #DavosDiary #WEF2017

Back in New York looking back at one of the most centering sessions in Davos at the Mind & Life Europe lunch where @matthieu_ricard, the Buddhist monk who started life as a French biologist, talked about how meditating in the morning is like opening a bottle of perfume in the morning -- the scent stays with you all day, along with Bill George who teaches leadership at @harvardhbs, and Jo Confino whom I recruited two years ago in Davos from The Guardian to @huffingtonpost. #DavosDiary #wef2017

At Zurich Airport about to board our flight to New York, looking back at one of the great Davos moments: interviewing the amazing @JamieOliver whose Food Revolution has had such a real impact, not just in the U.K. but around the world. And as he told me, it all started in an English pub. Check out the rest of my #DavosDiary in @businessinsider -- link in bio.

On my way to the Zurich airport looking back at some other great Davos moments: Here at the @kpthrive lunch on the silent epidemic of mental health where @time editor Nancy Gibbs moderated the discussion along with @kpthrive CEO Bernard Tyson and the @WHO's Shekar Saxena. #DavosDiary #wef2017

At the party we co-hosted with @Accenture, here with @ejshook1, Cherie Blair, and Melannee Verveer and with two great tech entrepreneurs, Sean Duffy (CEO of @omadahealth) and Brian Ballard (CEO of Upskill)

Checking in with my fellow panelists @yoyoma.official and Adam Grant before our 3-hour session at Base Camp in Davos today on unleashing creativity. After we announced our no-devices rule and turned off our phones, Yo-Yo had us turn towards the mountains as he played the most beautiful Bach in front of this stunning view. #DavosDiary

An interview in Davos with @theeconomist EIC Zanny Minton Beddoes as part of their new online series The Agenda, which explores the defining questions of our time and experiments with new ways to approach some of the modern world's most fundamental issues. Here we are talking politics, Trump, the rise of populism, “fake news,” and @Thrive. Link in bio. #WEF2017 #davosdiary

Last night at Jack Ma's dinner with Queen Máxima of the Netherlands who told me how she took up embroidery to destress (ok, she was in heels and I was in flats, but come on, how tall is she given that I'm 5'10!) #DavosDiary

At the annual Dow dinner Andrew Liveris hosts in Davos in conversation with Andrew who was born in Australia, but we Greeks claim him as our own as both of his parents were born in Greece on the Islands of Kastellorizo and Rhodes…and he definitely has a Greek soul! #DavosDiary #WEF2017

Just before we did our @cnbc/@facebook #facetoface interview, giving the #1 most-followed woman on Facebook, @Shakira, some reading material and @rebeccaminkoff's #SleepYourWayToTheTop travel pouch. #davosdiary #wef17

At the beautiful St. Luke's Church in Davos talking with @cnbc's Tania Bryer about Davos’ theme of responsive and responsible leadership, fake news, the Trump presidency, and @thrive. Believe it or not, there is a connecting thread through them all! #wef2017 #davosdiary

#regram @cnbc: What do @shakira and @ariannahuff have in common? Passion. If you could ask them a question, what would it be? As part of CNBC's coverage of @worldeconomicforum in #Davos we're bringing you #FacetoFace - unparalleled access to the world's most influential leaders. A great panel last night at the @financialtimes / @wiprolimited dinner in Davos with technology leader @kaifu_lee, CEO of Wipro Abidali Neemuchwala, @Shell chairman Charles Holliday, and AB InBev's head of Sustainable Development Andy Wales, moderated by the FT's Tim Bradshaw. Loved spending time after the panel with Kai-Fu Lee whose inspiring story I wrote about in "Thrive": he was diagnosed with cancer in 2013, and it was his wake-up call -- instead of continuing to “compete with others to see who could sleep less,” he started prioritizing his health and wellbeing and went on to write an amazing book “Finding Life in Death.” #wef2017 #davosdiary

Snow and beautiful sun greeting us as we arrive in Davos for #WEF17. #davosdiary

At last night's DLD Chairman's Dinner at the beautiful Bavarian royal palace with the host Hurbert Burda, Burda Media CEO Paul-Bernhard Kallen, and blogging guru @jeffjarvis

In a room full of people who are always on at @dldconference in Munich, I talked with @askpang whose book "Rest" on the importance of deliberate rest for creativity and productivity I reviewed for the @nytimes. Link in bio.

Happy Saturday and a reminder to me before I leave this afternoon for Munich for the DLD conference and the Davos marathon. Link to my Davos survival guide in bio. #WEF2017

Great time with a group of visitors from Brazil in the @thrive pop-up store (only open for two more days). We're standing in front of my favorite Gordon Parks photograph (of a boy with a June bug)—tomorrow it goes back to my bedroom 😊

Last spring I partnered with @airbnb to host a contest for a night in my bedroom. Here I am celebrating with our winner Amanda Delabar and her husband Drew! She wrote an essay about how in her busy life as the principal at Tubman Elementary in D.C., she needs a good night's rest. We had dinner (with sleep-inducing foods, of course!) from @hukitchen at the @thrive pop-up store, enjoyed a group meditation from @agapisees, and did some light pre-bed stretching with help from physical therapist Mike Zazzali. Then Amanda and Drew enjoyed massages by @getzeel and stayed the night in my sleep sanctuary! And this morning, breakfast was from @quaker at the pop-up store. I hope you’re refreshed and recharged Amanda and ready to go back to your important job in D.C.! Counter clockwise: Amanda and I, dinner at the pop-up store, with Amanda and Drew holding their pajamas in my sleep sanctuary before I said goodnight.

Double trouble 👭 #tbt

At the Quaker Power Breakfast with @thrive board member Dr. David Agus, @chefsamstephens who owns @oatmealsny, and @quaker's Morgan Flatley, at the pop-up store. Loved hearing everyone's stories of how they reduce stress and bring joy in the morning!

Join us for a conversation and book signing with Angela Duckworth, author of NYT bestseller Grit, this Saturday at the @thrive pop-up from 5-6PM. Angela will share why grit and talent are entirely different, why only one of them (grit) predicts achievements in challenging situations, and why gritty individuals are so special. But if you’re not feeling very gritty these days, don’t worry — she'll offer specific recommendations about how you can cultivate grit in yourself!

In front of my fireplace at a luncheon I co-hosted today with Nancy Brown, CEO of @american_heart, on women's heart health — an important subject, given that 1 in 3 women die of cardiovascular disease but 80% of heart disease and stroke may be prevented. We discussed how a heart-healthy lifestyle, including prioritizing sleep and stress management, helps women thrive.

Part of my morning routine is @Bulletproof coffee, which is why I’m so excited to be talking to founder @david.asprey at the Thrive Pop-Up Store today at 4pm. He’ll be signing copies of his book, The Bulletproof Diet, and, of course, there’s free @Bulletproof coffee all day at the store! #regram @thrive: ☕️ Did someone say free coffee? We're serving @bulletproof coffee at our pop-up store (419 Broome St) all day! Stop by at 4pm for a book signing and discussion with Bulletproof founder @dave.asprey and @ariannahuff.
