Road to 300/200/300 Day 64 and 65:
Work for yesterday - Paused front squat ramp to 110kg X 2, front squat ramp to 160 X 2, back squat ramp to 252.5 X 1. Bench Press speed work 2 reps every minute on the minute for 10 minutes at 100kg. Conditioning - 3 rounds with no rest of: 15 TRX Rows, 25m 1-arm overhead carry at 16kg with each arm.
Work for today - Back Squat ramp up to 255 X 1, Bench Press ramp up to 170kg X 1 (video), Conditioning - max rounds in 10 minutes of: 10 Hang power cleans @ 40kg, 10 Decline push ups, Max distance on rower in 20 strokes - done with oxygen deprivation mask - Hell
Happy to hit a 170 bench while still having a strained pec! Closest I've ever been to double bodyweight bench press
225x23. Well... I haven't posted any bench work lately, so here's this. It was supposed to be a super light technique day. Somehow it turned into "lots of people go for max reps with 225, I wonder where my limit is?". Truthfully, this wasn't it. Call me lazy, call me a liar or whatever, but the truth is I was obviously slowing down/nearing the end, but I stopped because I got kinda bored. Lol. Anyway, maybe I'll try again another day with a better attitude to start. Thanks to @hunt_lift_life for making sure I didn't die.
