So, after Christmas and our December trip to Madeira, I stepped on the scales thinking I'd probably be around 64-65kg... I actually weighed 66kg πŸ™ˆ
My plan this year is to nail my reverse diet, to get my calories nice and high again, whilst putting on little body fat (well, less than I have done before anyway) and gain some more muscle!
To do this I want to be in a place where I feel happy with myself and my body, in order to accept the fact I'm going to put on a bit of extra weight πŸ’πŸΌ
So I decided to do a mini cut throughout January (perhaps February too depending on how I get on) to shed some extra body fat before officially starting my reverse diet. Also to see how my body responds to a strict amount of calories/macros, so I have a starting point.
After dieting for 2 weeks I weighed myself and I'd gone from 66kg to 63.5kg. This was super good progress for me, considering for months I'd felt like I'd really struggled to lose weight because my calories had been so low in the first place! πŸ™ˆπŸ”«
I know some of my initial weight loss will have been water weight, but I'm already feeling so much better and looking forward to seeing my progress by the end of January! 😁😁πŸ’ͺ🏻😁😁

Wow....this is #embarrassing but I'm posting because maybe it can encourage someone. I #binged over the holidays and even before the holidays. I paid zero attention to macros. I ate what I wanted in excess. I started feeling uncomfortable in my clothes again. I remember that feeling and it wasn't a good one.
