Same girl--10 months later--different mindset.
This photo shows the physical difference in 16 pounds--27 inches--and 4 pant sizes.
Aside from those changes and feeling incredible in what I wear--there is more to this photo that I am proud of.
I have NEVER been able to stick to anything for 10 months. I've tried it all. Tone it Up, BBG, bodybuilding.com, marathon trainings, protein shakes, programs, and groups. I'd start super strong and then fizzle out--or I'd complete a program and then once I was done, binge back into my old habits. My metabolism went on a roller coaster ride with all of the things I had tried.
Then--I asked my hubby to let me try one more thing. Besides, the picture on the left was from our return on our honeymoon and I knew I needed something to motivate me again after the wedding.
That 'one more thing' has allowed me to be consistent. It has allowed me to live my life and not obsess about what I was eating, when I was working out, and how many calories I was burning during my endless miles on the treadmill.
That 'one more thing' gave me a team and accountability. It gave me a support group where I could go if I needed more motivation. It brought some of the greatest friends into my life that are on a similar journey of becoming happier and healthier.
Not everyone's story is about weight loss or looking good, building muscle or toning up. And I've learned that should NOT be your primary focus. When I switched my mindset from the bathing suit season motives to wanting to FUEL my body with what it needs...EVERYTHING changed.
I'm here to help you with whatever is missing. I'm here to show you this incredible journey. I want to introduce you to a group filled with positivity instead of judgement.
