"I march for all the people who have told me not to. Who have said that women coming together to agitate for equality for all marginalised people will change nothing. I refuse to believe that because we can’t solve every injustice at once that we should stop trying. I march because progress has only ever come one step at a time.

Does anyone want me to finish singing "When We Were Young?" We have 5 days left to reach Adele before our deadline!.... If we all work together to reach the amazing @Adele this week - I believe we can do it!
If Adele gives us permission to use her stunning version of our song "Hiding My Heart" to benefit children affected by war. I will record "When We Were Young", release it and donate all our proceeds to a charity of Adele's choice.
Adele consistently supports incredible causes with her voice, including the amazing @drop4drop and @sandscharity organizations.
So whatever she decides to do in this situation - she has my utmost respect and admiration.
Inspiration at its Best! Your looking at the only two African Americans Males to ever become the Associated Students President of Santa Monica College. Thank you for all the great work you've done in the not only the Santa Monica Community but the African American Community as well. You went on to do great things after SMC I hope to follow in your footsteps and beyond. Thanks for leading the way. #MrSantaMonica#YesWeCan
Yes, this happened! What an amazing moment in my life to have had the opportunity to not only drive the staff in the VP motorcade but to meet the Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden. I was absolutely beyond myself, he was such a pleasant & personable individual. This one is in the books as one of the most amazing moments in my life!! #yeswecan#barackobama#vp#america
I've spent the last few days reflecting on what the Obama's mean to me as the end their time as the leaders of our country approaches. While most days I worry about what might begin to happen at the end of this week, I have to stop and remember what an incredible eight years we have had. Maybe it's because I've done the most "growing up" during this time but our President and First Lady represent the grace and class our country needs. More than ever I believe in the #powerofhope and can't wait to #showup and #divein. I plan on being part of the #womensmarch this Saturday in San Francisco and hope you will join me. #leadbyexample#yeswecan
