I'm going to miss these two this weekend! I'm headed to San Francisco for a weekend of ATS® classes! I'm actually not feeling too great, perfect timing to get sick, right before a weekend I've been planning for a whole year!! I'm going to make the best of it and learn as much as I can 💃🏻
I pretend every day that I am a superhero out to save doctors and patients at my job 😂😂 it's really all about perspective isn't it??! And I just want a tiara because they are fancy and sparkly!!! #attitude#tiara#superhero#makethebestofit
Two sick kids at home totally derailed my plans for the day. Gotta change my mindset.
Grateful for extra down time.
Grateful for snuggles.
Grateful to be home with them.
Grateful for movies to watch.
Grateful for a warm home.
Grateful for perspective.
Day 5 of the #BalancedAndAligned2017 challenge is #FishPose or #Matsyasana
Matsyasana is known as the destroyer of all diseases. It stimulates and stretches the psoas (hip flexors), the front of the neck, organs of the belly and throat and it also improves posture.
In a seated position, place your palms face down beside you, Inhale as you left your sitting bones, bring palms close together and sit on your fingers pointed toward your body.
Exhale as you recline onto your elbows and forearms (a blanket or a pillow may be used for support under your back) extend your spine upward and projected through your head
Inhale pushing your chest and heart forward then, slowly drop your head back extending the arch in your spine
Exhale extending your legs out in front if you, you may keep your knees bent for Comfort until they can be straightened or simply cross your legs. Breathe Here for 15 to 30 seconds then repeat.
The 5th Chakra or Visuddha Chakra (Throat) is the fifth chakra and it is the first chakra to focus on the spiritual plane. Vishuddu identifies with the element sound and ether, the color is blue. The throat chakra focuses on our will, inner truth and our ability to present our voice to the world.
